{Recipes Thai Meatballs

serves : 4 as patties for a meal; makes 20 meatballs as finger food

the ingredients


500 gms chicken mince
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 onion, finely diced
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 bunch coriander, chopped
2 tbsp mango chutney
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp green curry paste
1 egg
1 clove garlic, crushed (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil


1 ripe mango, cheeks peeled and diced
1/2 Spanish red onion, finely diced
1/2 bunch coriander, chopped
2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
juice of one lime
sea salt and pepper to season

the fun

  • Prepare salsa by combining all ingredients in a bowl
  • Cover and refrigerate for flavours to develop while you prepare the meatballs
  • Combine all meatball ingredients in a large bowl
  • Shape into individual meatballs for finger food or patties to serve with salad or on a burger
  • Heat olive oil in Saute Pan over a medium heat and cook meatballs in batches until cooked through and golden
