Leonardo DiCaprio on Marriage: “We’ll See What Happens”

Leonardo DiCaprio has opened up aboutmarriage and taking a break from acting. According to a May 1 report by Us Weekly, the “Titanic” star said that he wouldn’t mind taking a little vacation before he turns 40 next year. The actor also hinted that he’s open to the idea of getting married, so maybe he’ll spend his time off looking for love.

xHere’s what “The Great Gatsby” star said about taking a break: “To me, right now it’s about getting a little breather — getting some time off. Not a permanent break or not an indefinite period, but you know, just a few months off to do some other things.” So ladies better get their fill of Leo while they can by checking him out in “The Great Gatsby” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

This is what Leonardo DiCaprio said about marriage: “I take it as it comes. We’ll see what happens in the future. I don’t try to determine what the future will be. I take it day by day.” So it sounds like he’s open to the idea but isn’t desperate to settle down just yet. Leo was once completely against the idea of marriage, but he changed his tune in 2008 when he said that he definitely wanted to get married and have kids.

Leonardo is a single man after a slew of relationship with leggy ladies like Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, and Erin Heatherton, so you might think that his ideal wife would be a sexy young model like Kate Upton. However, he did also date actress Blake Lively. So if Leo spends part of his time off searching for wife material, who should he take a look at?

The guy does love younger ladies, so maybe he could be the Prince Charming that Taylor Swifthas been searching for. Taylor resembles Blake Lively a bit, and she does have the long legs that Leo seems to love. Katy Perry would be another pop princess option — the brunette beauty does seem to have a thing for womanizers.

So which female celebrity would you like to see Leo woo during his time off?
