“Django Unchained” Up For Four Oscar Nominations

The nominees for the 2013 Academy Awards were recently announced and QUENTIN TARANTINO‘s highly controversial film, Django Unchained, received four nominations.


Since it’s release Django has been a highly criticized film for the use of the ‘N-word’ and its depiction of slavery in the United States.

Starring JAMIE FOXXKERRY WASHINGTON, and SAMUEL L. JACKSON, Django Unchainedreceived Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound Editing nominations.

FOXX, WASHINGTON, and JACKSON, stellar performances in the film were overlooked as none of our Juicy favorites received nominations.
